Every once in a while, you know it’s good to just indulge in what makes you happy. If we know we deserve some pampering, then why not, right? Well, I’ve been curious for a long time what it feels like to have my own personal gold facial. I must admit I loved the idea. Pampered with gold!
Well like I said, why not? So I did try it in the comfort of my own home.
The L’Core Paris Gold Collection
So the one I went for is L’Core’s Gold collection. They have promoted these products to have particles of gold. How more luxurious can you get? Anyway, this comes in a whole set, so you guessed it, I got them all. It’s a bit more expensive that your regular skin care products, but it’s all right because it really did have the element of elegance and it was worth it.
The Facial Creams
These ones I’m very excited about. Oh my god. The day, night, and eye creams are colored regal gold, and have 24K gold in them. The feel in my hands is amazing, even more so when I applied them on my face. You know that feeling when you just know your skin is safe when you go out in the sun and when you go to sleep? That’s exactly what I felt after these.
The Serums
These are some amazing liquid gold. I have applied the vitamin C and eye serums on some of the fine lines and wrinkles around my face. I layered them twice just to be sure. I have been using these for about a week now and I can already see some subtle improvements in my skin.
The 24K Facial and neck masks
These are the ones that I really, really wanted to try. Don’t expect that the facial and neck masks are made of gold leaves – they’re not. But what they are made of is collagen crystal mask. You can really feel it cleanse your face while you relax. The real treat comes when the masks came off. I felt rejuvenated, radiant, and it’s like I had a gentle massage for my skin.
Overall, the experience is a very enjoyable one. It’s like doing my daily skin care regimen but it feels much, much more elegant. The experience is very much worth it, and it convinced me to try out L’Core’s other products.
